LumiBrass Works - International Shipping & Logistics Policy
Last Updated: March 18, 2026
At LumiBrass Works, we specialize in the safe and efficient global delivery of high-gauge H65 solid brass lighting fixtures. Given the weight and premium nature of our products, we offer flexible logistics solutions tailored to professional project requirements.
1. PRODUCTION LEAD TIMES
Every fixture is handcrafted to order in our Zhongshan facility.
Standard Artisan Collections: 30–40 business days.
Custom/Bespoke Commissions: 35-45 business days.
Commencement: Lead times begin only after the confirmed receipt of your payment (Deposit or Full Payment as specified in your PI).
2. SHIPPING OPTIONS & FLEXIBILITY
We offer two primary methods to handle your international logistics:
A. Client-Arranged Logistics (Preferred for Trade Partners)
We fully support clients who have their own Freight Forwarder (Shipping Agent) in China.
EXW/FOB Terms: We can provide EX-Works (Factory Pickup) or FOB (Delivery to your agent's warehouse in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, or Zhongshan).
Coordination: Our team will coordinate directly with your agent to provide accurate packing lists, commercial invoices, and dimensions for booking.
B. Full-Service Factory-Managed Shipping
For clients who prefer a "turn-key" solution, Charles and our logistics team can manage the entire shipping process.
Quoting: Shipping costs are not included in the website prices. A precise quote based on your order’s total volume, weight, and destination will be included in your Proforma Invoice (PI).
Service Levels: We offer both Air Express (FedEx/DHL/UPS) for urgent residential projects and Sea Freight (LCL/FCL) for large-scale commercial developments.
Pre-Payment: All factory-managed shipping fees must be paid in full prior to the release of goods.
3. PACKAGING & QUALITY CONTROL
To ensure your brass fixtures arrive in pristine condition:
Export-Grade Crating: We use double-walled reinforced cartons and, where necessary, custom wooden crates for oversized or fragile components.
Pre-Shipment Inspection: You will receive high-resolution Quality Control (QC) photos of your finished products and their packaging before they leave our workshop.
4. IMPORT DUTIES, TAXES & CUSTOMS
Importer of Record: The customer is responsible for all import duties, VAT, or local brokerage fees levied by the destination country.
Documentation: We provide standard commercial invoices and packing lists. If your project requires a Certificate of Origin (CO) or specific HS Code documentation (typically HS 9405.11 for brass fixtures), please notify us during the inquiry stage.
5. INSPECTION & TRANSIT CLAIMS
48-Hour Inspection Window: Upon delivery, please inspect all packages immediately. Any external damage must be noted on the carrier’s delivery receipt.
Reporting: Internal damage or missing components must be reported to info@lumibrassworks.com within 48 hours with photo evidence. LumiBrass Works is not responsible for damages reported after installation or after the 48-hour window.
